Michael Pitcher is a seasoned property management leader with over two decades of progressive experience overseeing residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties across Canada and the United States. Known for delivering operational excellence, strategic oversight, and unparalleled resident satisfaction, he has built a distinguished career on innovation, professionalism, and results.
Throughout his career, Michael has led some of the industry’s most prestigious operations. He headed up the property management division under the Marriott International Luxury Brand of Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, W Hotels and more, where he set new benchmarks in service delivery within branded residential communities. He also launched and led the residential division for SmartCentres, guiding the company’s strategic entry into the multi-residential market with a focus on operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.
Michael’s portfolio also includes the management of luxury marina properties, most notably Friday Harbour Resort, where he oversaw high-end waterfront operations and introduced hospitality-driven enhancements that elevated the customer experience. His work in marina management has been marked by revenue optimization, service innovation, and seamless integration of lifestyle amenities.
As former Chief Operating Officer for a leading property management company, Michael led enterprise-wide initiatives that improved service delivery, modernized internal systems, and fostered high-performing teams. These experiences have shaped his ability to lead both day-to-day operations and transformative strategic projects with equal proficiency.
An active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), Michael holds the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation and is currently pursuing his Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) license to expand his regulatory expertise across North American markets.
